This fare allows a choice from three different routing options to Australia and/or New Zealand:-

Round the World option - out via the Far East and back via the Pacific and the USA
(or vice versa)
Stopovers: Two permitted - one in the Far East - choose from Hong Kong, Tokyo or Shanghai
plus one in the USA - choose from San Francisco or Los Angeles.

Pacific Island stopovers are also allowed for an additional fare of £110 per stop on the outbound journey or £220 per stop on the return trip. Choose from Cook Island, Tonga or Western Samoa.

Asia option - out and back via the Far East
Stopovers: Two permitted - one in each direction - choose from Hong Kong, Tokyo or Shanghai.

Pacific option - out and back via the Pacific and the USA
Stopovers: Two permitted - one in each direction -
choose from San Francisco or Los Angeles.
Pacific Island stopovers are also allowed for an additional fare of £110 per stop on the outbound journey or £220 per stop on the return journey -
choose from Cook Islands, Samoa and Tonga.

Additional Stopover options -
In addition to the stopovers shown above there are other stopover options possible provided you are prepared to make your own way between certain cities - for example Air New Zealand operate from Vancouver to New Zealand but you would need to fly into Los Angeles and make your own way to Vancouver. This means purchasing an additional travel method to get between these points - e.g. additional flight, train, coach, self drive - we can help you with this.
The same thing applies to Beijing. With Virgin Atlantic you can fly into Beijing and then make your own way to Hong Kong to carry on to Sydney or New Zealand.

Two Country option:
If you are paying the Australia fare level you have the option of visiting both Australia and New Zealand.
However if you only want to visit Sydney in Australia you can pay the lower NZ Fare level and still visit the two countries.
e.g. London-Hong Kong-Sydney-Auckland-Los Angeles or San Francisco-London.

   from - Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Leeds Teesside or Dublin
   for an additional £100 return
   or from Aberdeen or Inverness to London on British Midland for an additional £110 return.
Premium Economy upgrade:
Why not have extra comfort by upgrading to Virgin Atlantic's Premium Economy and Air New Zealand's Pacific Premium Economy classes at a fare of £1650 plus Taxes and additional charges for the NZ fare level and £1750 plus Taxes and additional charges for the OZ fare.
Children (2-11) pay 75% of adult fare
Infants (Under 2) pay 10%
