If your itinerary includes stopovers additional charges will apply.

  • Your ticket can be valid for a maximum stay of up to one year
  • This fare allows a choice of three different routing options to Australia and/or New Zealand.
    The stopover choices are a little complicated but our example itineraries at the bottom help to explain the options or please do not hesitate to call us or email so that one of our consultants can help you

    Round the World option - out via the Far East or South Africa and back via the Pacific and the USA 
    (or vice versa)
    Stopovers: - the basic fare allows the following stopovers - choose from Hong Kong, Tokyo or Shanghai plus the USA - choose from San Francisco or Los Angeles.
    If you wish to extend your itinerary, your own arrangements are permitted between numerous other cities (this enables you to increase the number of places you visit and permits you to travel overland between points) or additional flights are permitted within the USA and can be purchased at a surcharge of £135 per flight 
    Pacific Island stopovers are also allowed for an additional fare of £110 per stop on the southbound journey or £220 per stop on the northbound trip. Choose from Cook Islands, Tonga, Fiji, Hawaii, Western Samoa or Tahiti. 


    Asia option - out and back via the Far East
    Stopovers:  choose from Hong Kong, Tokyo or Shanghai.
    Africa option - Johannesburg

    Pacific option - out and back via the Pacific and the USA
    Stopovers:  
    choose from  San Francisco or Los Angeles. As with the Round the World option surface sectors and additional flights can be arranged - see examples below.
    Pacific Island stopovers are also allowed for an additional fare of £110 per stop on the southbound journey or £220 per stop on the northbound journey - 
    choose from Cook Islands, Western Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti, Fiji or Hawaii.

  • Two Country option:
    If you are paying the Australia fare level you have the option of visiting both Australia and New Zealand. 
    However if you only want to visit Sydney in Australia you can pay the lower NZ Fare level and still visit the two countries. 
    e.g. London-Hong Kong-Sydney-Auckland-Los Angeles or San Francisco-London.
    This example only allows you to pay the lower New Zealand fare

  • Fares shown are from London. 

    - Regional Departures are available - you can travel on British Midland to London 
       from - Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Leeds Teesside or Dublin
       for an additional £100 return
       or from Aberdeen or Inverness to London on British Midland for an additional £110 return.

  • Premium Economy upgrade:
    Why not have extra comfort by upgrading to Virgin Atlantic's Premium Economy and Air New Zealand's Pacific Premium Economy classes at a fare of £1755 plus Taxes and additional charges for the NZ fare level and £1855 plus Taxes and additional charges for the OZ fare.
     
  • Children (2-11) pay 75% of adult fare
    Infants (Under 2) pay 10%
